FastFocus is a fasting timer focused on mental clarity. This policy explains what the FastFocus iOS application processes.

Your fasting sessions, clarity check-ins, streak, protocol and settings are stored locally on your device. FastFocus has no accounts and no sign-in. Deleting the app deletes this data, subject to normal operating system backup behavior.
When a Pro user requests an AI weekly report, the app sends aggregated weekly statistics (counts, average hours, anonymous clarity averages per hour bucket, a random device identifier, and the selected goal) to our report service. If you have logged meals, the same request also carries that week's calorie and protein totals and, once enough days pair up, how those meals line up with your clarity check-ins. No photo and no text you typed is ever part of this request. The report service uses a third-party AI service to generate the text. No name, email, location data, or health-record data is collected or sent. Reports are generated on demand and the statistics are not used for advertising. We do not store the statistics; our service keeps only short-lived operational logs that contain no report content.
What is sent for a scan: the photo or text you choose, plus your current fasting numbers (hours fasted, protocol, a time-derived glycogen percentage, a protein figure rounded to the nearest 10 grams, and which part of your eating window the meal falls in). Nothing is sent unless you start the feature.
The AI services we use act as processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect this data to the standard described in this policy.
We do not store menu photos, plate photos, or the text you type — not on our servers and not on your device. Our AI service provider retains prompts and responses for 55 days solely to detect abuse and states that these requests are not used to train its models. Our own service keeps request logs for 30 days without any image or text content.
The scan features ask for your agreement inside the app before the first photo or line of text is sent. Declining does not withhold any paid feature — every meal can still be logged by typing it. You can withdraw your agreement at any time in Settings > AI features.

If you turn on Health sync, FastFocus reads one value from Apple Health with your permission: your body weight. It is used only on your device to compute the body estimates (resting energy, glycogen and fat figures) shown in the app. Your weight and your Apple Health data are never sent to our servers or to any third party; when you use the AI debrief or weekly report, the app may include its own rounded estimates (for example calories drawn during a fast), which are not Apple Health data. FastFocus does not write anything to Apple Health. You can withdraw this access at any time in the iOS Settings app under Health > Data Access & Devices.
Everything FastFocus knows about you lives on your device. Because there are no accounts, deleting the app deletes your fasting history, check-ins and settings. Optional features (the AI weekly report, Health sync) run only when you use or enable them, and you can stop at any time. To ask what we hold that is tied to your random device identifier, or to request its deletion, email bill@jocoding.net; we respond within 30 days.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id and purchase receipts. See the RevenueCat privacy policy.
Stage and reminder notifications are scheduled locally on the device. We do not send remote push notifications.
The app contains no ad SDK. Apple's SKAdNetwork may attribute an install to an ad campaign in a privacy-preserving way that does not identify you.
Anonymous usage events (screen views, purchases, and feature use counts) are sent to a third-party analytics service; they never include photos, typed text, or health values.
FastFocus provides general information about fasting physiology and is not a medical device or medical advice. Consult a doctor before fasting if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are under 18.
